Mary was born in the Windy City of Chicago but has called Arizona home since adolescence.

Her childhood and teens were a rollercoaster of ups and downs living with a teen mom who was influenced by both drugs and alcohol. She was blessed to find a second family in high school that adopted her into their nest.

She spent her thirties and fourties getting her life together with many dark valleys and the brightest of peaks being her son Bryan.

Mary was able to find joy and passion with Avon through some of those valleys and has remained a constant in her life for the last 20+ years no matter if she was going through a peak or valley.

About 12 years ago, she was drawn back to God and was able to finally establish her own boundaries within herself and with others. To help manage her thoughts, emotions, and actions, she began telling her story through her blogs which gave her deeper accountability for herself.

God works in mystery ways. He reunited Mary with her first love, Scott, who proposed for the second time over 25 years after the first. This time she she said "yes," and they've been happily married now for over 13 years.

They reside in Mesa, Arizona with their pup, Titus, where they enjoy a shared love of football, family, and spending time together.

Mary volunteers several times a month helping improve her community. She's ready to drop everything to help her family, friends, and believes in living a life guided by God.
